Information about MYCOSTATIN Baby ointment
Composition:
Each 1g contain 100,000 units nystatin  in an emollient base (plastibase) thickened with 20% w/w zinc oxide.

Dosage:
Adults and children: To be applied liberally to the affected area two to four times daily.

Elderly: No specific dosage recommendations or precautions.

Indications and usage:
For the treatment of cutaneous and mucocutaneous mycoses; especially those caused by C. albicans.

MYCOSTATIN Baby ointment is particularly indicated for the treatment of napkin rash where super-infection with Candida albicans has occurred.

Package:
Tube of 30 g or 15 g.
