Information about METFORAL

Composition:

Each film-coated tablet contains metformin hydrochloride 500, 850 or 1000 mg.

Dosage:

The daily dose of Metforal is assigned individually by the physician.

As general rule:

Metforal 500mg: an average of 1-2 tablets at the end of the three main meals.

Metforal 850mg: one tablet in the morning and one at night (at an interval of 12 hours) prefered to be after meal.

Indications and usage:

Adult onset diabetes (Type II diabetes), particularly in obese patients, if dietary treatment and physical activity alone are not sufficient.

Package:

Pack of 40 Tablets for 500 mg.

Pack of 20 or 30 Tablets for 850 mg.
